    1. How long is request data stored on the DIVE Online Server?
    • Request data (images and the data collected from the document) is stored on the DIVE Online API server a configurable amount of time (from 0 day up to 365 days) that customer's control in the DIVE API Web Portal.

    1. What counts as a transaction for billing purposes?
    • Any request that is received by the server and successfully processed will count towards your billing total. The status of the request will be available for you to review in our client facing web portal. This includes scans that are determined to be fake/low confidence. In addition, client side errors will also be charged.

    1. What keys will I need to submit images to the DIVE Online API?
    • In order to submit images to the DIVE Online API, you must first get an account. Please contact sales@idscan.net to start this process.

    1. What keys will I need to use the IDScan.net Web Library?
    • In order to use the IDScan.net Web Library you will need to use a license key. That license key will be linked to a URL and the Wrapper will only work when your application is served from that URL.

    1. How long does a submission take to complete?
    • On average the DIVE Online API's response time is 10-12 seconds.

    1. What is the difference between a failed scan and a fake/low confidence scan?
    • Failed Scan: A failed scan is when the DIVE Online API is unable to process the request due to technical issues, such as server errors or connectivity problems. In this case, the API will return an error message indicating that the scan could not be completed. This can be either client side (a 400 level error) or server side (a 500 level error).
    • Fake/Low Confidence Scan: A fake/low confidence scan is when the DIVE Online API processes the request but determines that the document is likely to be fake or of low confidence. In this case, the API will return a response indicating that the document is not valid, along with a confidence score and other relevant information.

    • False Non Match Rate @ 1:1,000 False Match Rate - 0.4% (FRR@[FAR=10E-3] = ~0.004 (~0.4%))

    1. What is the difference between the DIVE Online API and the DIVE API?
    • The DIVE API is a legacy version of our API that is still supported but no longer recommended for new integrations. The DIVE Online API is our latest version of the API that includes new features and improvements. We recommend using the DIVE Online API for all new integrations.
