Requirements for Submitted Images
All images submitted to the DIVE API must comply with several requirements in order to be processed successfully
- Images can be no more than 1500 pixels on one side
- The body of any request will be limited to 10 Megabytes in size
- Pixel Density can be no less than 96dpi (150 dpi recommended)
- JPEG compression can be no more than 15 percent
- ID Images should be in frame as much as possible, with minimal background and no obstructions
- Images should be in focus, with no motion blur or glare.
- Passports should only contain the page with the MRZ.
- Face images should be well lit, with the face centered and unobstructed. Full body images are not ideal.
